David Goodgame, LVN

Client Care Supervisor

Just a few years ago, my life looked drastically different—I was homeless, broken, and incarcerated, consumed by addiction and separated from everything and everyone I loved. Today, I am little over 5 1/2 years sober and surrounded by a team that feels like family, dedicated to living with purpose and helping others rise from the depths I once knew too well.

I went from having nothing—no support, no trust, no vision—to being surrounded by people who believe in me, and more importantly, who I can now show up for every single day. Recovery didn’t just help me get clean; it helped me become the man I was always meant to be.

My journey wasn’t easy. I’ve slept on cold concrete. I’ve sat in a prison cell wondering if there was anything left for me outside those walls. I lost not only my freedom, but my identity. Addiction took everything—but recovery gave me more than I ever imagined possible. Through relentless self-work, community support, and spiritual growth, I found a new path—one built on accountability, service, and hope.

Now, my mission is to give back what was so freely given to me. Whether I’m mentoring others in recovery or struggling teens, working in treatment, or simply sharing my story, I do it to prove that no one is too far gone. That rock bottom can be a solid foundation if you’re willing to rebuild.
